In a meanwhile Im trying to find my backup organization

Finally, i have found my life savers who's still willing to help me out with my Traditional Embroidery organization that I'd choose which it call as "sulam goyang" . Why it's called by that "Sulam goyang" because it still using a method like normal embroidery like using a hoop or in Malay call it as"ram". The 'ram' which used as to control the pattern goings or the main point in embroidery thing is as to make the fabric taut so can produce a neat and good pattern onto the fabric. When we look at their pattern it's look so vintage but I believe that i can make an improvement or an innovation onto that kind of thing. From the classical pattern can be an contemporary pattern or hipster? Maybe 🤔 So, this is a machine using by Kak Safarina The hoop or "ram" is the main needed when doing an embroidery So, my new organization is a wife with 2 kids and 30's series of mother who is still love to sew and mak

This "sulam goyang" already exist since I have not been born again. Can you think how old is it. So, we know how the pattern going? The pattern is so classical and limited but I am still need to make an improvement on the pattern to be contemporary maybe and not being applied just on a table cloth, bad sheet and so on. Maybe i can applied it on flannel shirt or so on? 🤔 But, I need to let it free my mind and focus on my graduate week 😜 Honestly, I am feel so exciteddand all my batch in the same Diploma are excited. We all busy to find a good cloth, shoes and everything to look good on our special day. So stay tuned guy!

Meet embah againnnnnn

On the beautiful Friday morning, I've came to visit Embah at Kampung to know how is her feeling, is it she feeling better? Is it she still free to help me finish my project requirement?  Yes, she still said she can help me and commit with me. Embah is still willing to help me out but I feel pity for her. She's an old woman and still active take a reservation for sewing a "Baju Raya". She have a lot of work to commit. The truth is, I feel a lil bit worried to think about it. Can i finish my project with Embah? Or should i find a backup who's still can continued my  final project? 🤔

It's so deliciousss, I swear! The sad is, I am feeling pity to Embah, she's look so tired but she still can smile to treat people so good and prepare a good food. So I'd take a chance to round over her house and see what a machine, material and all the stuff needed to do an embroidery project and sewing This is 'mesin jahit tepi' at Embah house to make a finishing for the sided cloth. So, thi is 'mesin sulam'. This is 'm

Helpful Guide to the Best Threads for Hand Embroidery

Hand embroidery is a tactile art. It begs to be touched! Why? Usually because texture and dimension are a noticeable part of embroidery.Sometimes, texture and dimension happen accidentally, but often, designers purposely add dimension and texture to their embroidery projects in order to increase their beauty and interest. In the first part of this series on dimension and texture in hand embroidery, we’re going to look at common embroidery threads and how their fiber, weight and twist help add dimension and texture to embroidery. Hand embroidery threads: cotton, wool and silk While there are many types of threads on the market that can be used in hand embroidery, we’re going to concentrate first on the most common fibers used for surface embroidery: cotton, silk and wool. The Best Machine Embroidery Thread

When deciding the best machine embroidery thread to use, two main characteristics must be considered: weight and type. Considering thread weight Thread weight works just the opposite of how it sounds. The higher the thread weight number, the finer and thinner the thread. Alternately, a low thread weight number means a thicker, heavier thread. 40 wt. rayon (left) and 30 wt. cotton variegated (right) via Craftsy blogger Debbie Henry To compare, typical sewing thread measures in at 50 wt.
